Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing an insulated conductor wire material in which a conductor wire material having a flat surface (12) on which grooves (11, 51) are formed is coated with an insulating coating, the method including: an electrodeposition step for immersing the conductor wire material in an electrodeposition liquid (62) to form an insulating layer (13) on the surface of the conductor wire material via electrodeposition; an electrodeposition liquid removal step for extracting the conductor wire material on which the insulating layer (13) has been formed from the electrodeposition liquid (62), and spraying gas on the surface of the conductor wire material on the side of the flat surface where the grooves (11, 51) have been formed to remove the electrodeposition liquid (62) attached to the insulating layer (13); and a baking step for heating the conductor wire material, on which is formed the insulating layer (13) from which the electrodeposition liquid (62) has been removed, to bake the insulating layer (13) onto the conductor wire material and thereby coat the conductor wire material with an insulating coating.
