Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a kitchen knife by using a multilayer material, comprising the steps of: (a) manufacturing a multilayer material for manufacturing a knife; (b) heating the multilayer material for manufacturing a knife, and then forging same, thereby manufacturing a knife-shaped molded body comprising a blade part and a handle part; (c) forming a blade by polishing the blade part; (d) coating the front surface of the knife-shaped molded body with clay comprising kaolin and white clay, and removing the clay coated on the blade; (e) heating the knife-shaped molded body coated with the clay, and then oil-cooling and quenching same; (f) etching the surface of the knife-shaped molded body having been quenched, thereby forming a pattern on the surface thereof; and (g) polishing the surface-etched knife-shaped molded body, thereby processing same into a knife having a final shape.
