Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a knife blade having a multilayer structure is provided. The method for manufacturing a knife blade having a multilayer structure comprises the steps of: i) providing a base material including carbon steel; ii) providing nickel coating layers to both respective surfaces of the base material; iii) forming a laminate by providing, onto respective nickel coating layers, sheet materials each including a copper alloy layer and a nickel layer; iv) providing a joined material by hot-pressing the laminate; v) providing a knife blade including a blade part by cutting the joined material with a waterjet; and vi) surface-hardening and thermally treating the blade part with high frequency waves by means of a high-frequency thermal treatment coil formed to be bent in correspondence to the blade part. In the step of forming the laminate, the thickness of the laminate is 5-6 mm, and and in the step of providing the joined material, the joined material having a thickness of 2.4-4 mm is provided by means of hot-pressing during which the laminate is heated at 1030-1080℃ for 13-17 minutes and then the laminate is vertically pressed without shearing force.
