Abstract:
An improvement in a laminate-molding method for manufacturing molded products having an external appearance of an excellent quality, and an improvement in an apparatus therefor. To meet the purpose of the molding method for laminating a skin material Mm and a core resin (200) on each other by a mold clamping means (3), the tension of the skin material Mm, which is inserted into a cavity (9) between clamped fixed and movable metal molds (11, 21) and laminated on the core resin (200) by the movable metal mold (21), is varied continuously or in a stepped manner in accordance with an insertion amount thereof. The molding apparatus consists of a skin material holding means (40) provided on the mold clamping means (3), a means (31) for detecting a stroke or time at the time of clamping the movable metal mold (21), and a skin material holding control means (50) adapted to output an instruction for changing the tension of the skin material to the skin material holding means (40) in accordance with a signal from the detecting means (31).
