Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a layered optical film, whereby it is possible to suppress the occurrence of defects in the layered optical film which are based on flaws or deformation in an affixing roll. A first optical film 2 and a second optical film 3 disposed on one or both surfaces of the first optical film 2 via an adhesive layer or a pressure-sensitive-adhesive layer are introduced between a pair of rotating affixing rolls 1, 1, and the first optical film 2 and the second optical film 3 are affixed to each other. Here, among the pair of affixing rolls 1, 1, because an outermost layer of at least one affixing roll 1 is rubber and the elastic recovery rate of the rubber is 70% or greater, flaws are not prone to occur in the affixing roll 1, and the affixing roll 1 readily recovers from deformation.
