Abstract:

Provided is a method for manufacturing a lens forming mold, the method being provided with: a position and orientation determining step S101 of specifying the position and orientation in spatial coordinates of a first forming mold and a second forming mold, wherein the first forming mold has a forming surface R1 for forming one optical surface of a lens and the second forming mold has a forming surface R2 for forming the other optical surface; a forming mold holding step S102 of holding the first forming mold and the second forming mold by rotating and/or tilting at least one among the first forming mold and the second forming mold and maintaining the rotation angle and/or tilting angle of a reference surface of the first forming mold with respect to a reference surface of the second forming mold, on the basis of the specified position and orientation in spatial coordinates; and an assembling step S103 of assembling a lens forming mold by disposing the forming surface R1 of the first forming mold and the forming surface R2 of the second forming mold so as to face each other, and fixing the outer circumferences of the first forming mold and the second forming mold.
