Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device and a method for manufacturing a light guide plate are provided such that a light-emitting device which is low-cost and has excellent space efficiency, in spite of having multiple light emission surfaces at different angles, can be manufactured with few man-hours and with stable quality. The light-emitting device is such that the end face of any one of the adjacent end parts of a plurality of light guide plates (D) is formed into an inclined surface (X) having a reflection function for causing the light being guided to enter the adjacent light guide plate with a changed angle. The light guide plate (D) having the inclined surface (X) with the reflection function is produced such that the light guide plate is cut out so as to have an inclined surface having a predetermined inclination angle when being cut out from a base plate (76) having a prism formed by nanoimprinting and having laminates (75) laminated on both sides, and a reflective film (22) is thereafter formed on the cut end face having the inclination angle using the laminates (75) on both surfaces as masks.
