Disclosed are a method for manufacturing a light guide panel having a light guide pattern, and a light guide panel manufactured thereby. The light guide panel according to the present invention comprises: a light guide panel material, made from transparent synthetic resin and having bubbles formed on the treated surface thereof during laser treatment; and an embossed light guide pattern, which is formed on at least one surface of the light guide panel material, and which is made from the same material as the light guide panel material and integrally formed with the light guide panel material. As a result, the light guide pattern and the light guide panel material can be formed simultaneously, thereby eliminating the subsequent step of forming the light guide pattern during the manufacture of the light guide panel having the light guide pattern. The method can be applied to manufacturing a light guide panel for an LED light source that is bigger than 30 inches. In addition, the present invention has better qualities in terms of surface hardness, thermal deformation, etc., compared to a suspension-polymerized PMMA, and can improve the quality of the exterior by maintaining a uniform distance between the light guide panel and a reflector sheet during the assembly of a backlight unit.
