Abstract:

Provided is a method for manufacturing a liquid-containing container containing a liquid in a containing space of the container having an opening portion (10), a body portion (12), and a bottom portion (13), the body portion (12) having a horizontal fold line portion (14) along which the body portion (12) can be folded when being squashed in a thickness direction and which extends in a circumferential direction of the body portion (12), the manufacturing method comprising: a liquid blow molding step for molding the container having the containing space filled with the liquid, by setting a preform in a mold and performing liquid blow molding thereon; and a head space forming step for forming a head space by separating the container filled with the liquid from the mold so that the body portion is deformed in a direction in which the thickness thereof increases in a region of the horizontal fold line portion to increase the volume of the containing space.
