Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a machine part has a step (S10) for preparing a shaft member in which a helical screw thread is provided, and a step (S20) for hardening the helical screw thread along the extension direction of the helical screw thread. The helical screw thread includes a first side surface and a second side surface on the reverse side from the first side surface. In the step (S20) for hardening the helical screw thread, while a first laser having a first output is radiated to a portion of the first surface, and while a second laser having a second output is radiated to a portion of the second surface, the portions irradiated by the first laser and the second laser are moved along the axis of the shaft member in the direction from the second side surface toward the first side surface. The second output is smaller than the first output. A method for manufacturing a machine part and a device for manufacturing a machine part whereby bias of a hardened surface can be suppressed are thereby provided.
