Abstract:
A catheter (10) is configured to have an inner layer (20), an outer layer (22), and a reinforcing member (24). When manufacturing the catheter (10), an inner-layer forming step for forming the inner layer (20) and a reinforcing-member forming step for forming the reinforcing member (24) on the outer circumferential surface of the inner layer (20), after the inner-layer forming step, are performed. Subsequent to the reinforcing-member forming step, performed are a cooling step for cooling at least a predetermined end forming part (104a) of the inner layer (20) and an annealing step for annealing the reinforcing member (24), which overlaps the predetermined end forming part (104a) of the inner layer (20), which has been cooled in the cooling step.
