Abstract:
The present disclosure describes a method for manufacturing a metal product, and a metal product, with which it is possible to improve the ease with which an identification code can be read.
A method for manufacturing a rotor laminated iron core 1 includes: scanning a base area laser beam in a prescribed first direction while radiating the base area laser beam onto a surface 2b of a laminated body 2, and repeating said scanning operation for a plurality of rows to form a base region 12 on the surface 2b of the laminated body 2; and scanning a marking laser beam in a prescribed second direction while radiating the marking laser beam onto the surface 2b of the laminated body 2, and repeating said scanning operation for a plurality of rows to form a black marking 14 resulting from oxidation of the surface 2b of the laminated body 2. The second direction is different from the first direction. An identification code 10 having a prescribed pattern is constituted by a combination of the base region 12 and the black marking 14.
