Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a metallic core for a rubber track, capable of molding an increased number of metallic cores per mold to drastically reduce costs.
A mold for a metallic core for a rubber track is configured to mold a metallic core, which is to be embedded in an endless belt-shaped track body, by joining a first mold (10-1) and a second mold (10-2) together at the mating faces thereof. The cavity of a metallic core forming mold (14), the cavity being formed when the first mold (10-1) and the second mold (10-2) are joined together at the mating faces thereof, is configured in such a manner that the longitudinal direction of the metallic core forming mold (14) is aligned with the direction of depth of both the first mold (10-1) and the second mold (10-2) relative to the mating faces.
