Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a low cost method that enables the manufacture, in a short period of time, of a high quality microchannel device having sufficiently high channel walls. [Solution] This method for manufacturing a microchannel device uses an electrophotographic image-forming process to form a plurality of resin particle images 211-214, which correspond to channel walls, on an image carrier by using resin particles 210, and then layering the plurality of resin particle images 211-214 on a substrate 110, after which the plurality of resin particle images 211-214 that have been layered on the substrate 110 are pressed, heated and melted onto the substrate to form channel walls 200.
