Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a motor in which a stator is covered by a resin sealing member, wherein relative positional accuracy can be secured between the stator and the resin sealing member in an axial direction of the stator. The method for manufacturing a motor, in which a resin sealing member is provided to cover a Z2 direction side and an outer circumferential side of a stator 6, includes a resin sealing member forming step for forming, so as to be integrated with the stator 6, a sealing resin member using a mold 50 and a mold 51 that joins together with the mold 50 from the Z2 direction side. The mold 50 has formed therein a support surface 53f which faces the Z2 direction, and the mold 51 is provided with a pressing pin 58 for pressing the stator 6 toward the Z1 direction side. In the resin sealing member forming step, the resin sealing member is formed by injection molding in which a cavity 52 formed inside the molds 50, 51 is filled with a resin in a state where part of the stator abuts against the support surface 53f and is pressed against the support surface 53f by the pressing pin 58.
