Abstract:

A method of manufacturing a multi-stage supercharging exhaust turbosupercharger, capable of reducing assembling man-hours and the number of parts to be assembled by reducing pipe connecting operation for the turbosupercharger and capable of improving the easiness of mounting of an engine in a narrow engine room. The method is characterized in that an exhaust manifold and a high-pressure turbine housing are formed integrally with each other, a high-pressure stage supercharger is assembled with reference to the high-pressure turbine housing, a low-pressure stage supercharger is assembled into the high-pressure stage supercharger by fastening the low-pressure turbine housing of the low-pressure stage supercharger to the low-pressure turbine connection flange of the high-pressure stage supercharger on the exhaust outlet side, and an air charge outlet of the low-pressure stage supercharger and an air charge inlet of the high-pressure stage supercharger are connected by an air charge connection pipe.
