Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an optical element in which a laser beam is transmitted, reciprocated, or reflected. The method is provided with: a first step of obtaining a bonded element formed by subjecting first and second element parts, which are transparent to the laser beam, to surface-activated bonding with an amorphous layer interposed therebetween; and, after the first step, a second step of raising the temperature of the bonded element so as to crystallize at least part of the amorphous layer. In the second step, the temperature of the bonded element is raised to a prescribed temperature lower than the melting point of the first and second element parts.
