Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical member resin in which the occurrence of foreign matter and cloudiness is suppressed, and to an optical member resin, a spectacle lens, and spectacles. The present invention is: a method for manufacturing an optical member resin, including a step for mixing a polythiol component, a polyisocyanate component, and an additive and obtaining a polymerizable composition, and a step for polymerizing the polymerizable composition, wherein the total moisture content before mixing of the additive is 1.0 mass ppm to 10 mass ppm with respect to the amount of the polyisocyanate component; an optical member resin obtained by the manufacturing method; an optical member comprising the optical member resin; a spectacle lens provided with a lens base material comprising the optical member resin; and spectacles provided with the spectacle lens.
