Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing an organic thin film solar cell, wherein a domain size of a bulk hetero junction layer can be accurately controlled.
In this method for manufacturing an organic thin film solar cell, an organic thin film solar cell is formed by forming a first electrode layer, a photoelectric conversion layer and a second electrode layer in this order on a substrate. In the method, a coat film is formed by applying, to the first electrode layer, a coat liquid containing a p-type organic semiconductor, an n-type organic semiconductor and an organic solvent, a bulk hetero junction layer is formed by drying the coat film in a vacuum and removing the organic solvent, and a domain size of the bulk hetero junction layer is controlled by heating the bulk hetero junction layer before or while or after forming the second electrode layer.
