Title:
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOTOCATALYST MATERIAL, AND PHOTOCATALYST MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/159123
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A photocatalyst material in which a single layer of a carbon-based deposit is formed on the surface of titanium dioxide particles is provided by a manufacturing method including: a step (a) for introducing titanium dioxide particles in an electric furnace provided with a mechanism in which the core pipe rotates; a step (b) for raising the temperature of the interior of the core pipe of the electric furnace in which the titanium dioxide particles have been introduced to a temperature of 400°C to 800°C while causing an inert gas to flow into the interior of the core pipe; a step (c) for causing a hydrocarbon gas to flow into the interior of the core pipe in addition to the inert gas; and a step (d) for rotating the core pipe, performing thermal CVD on the titanium oxide particles in a fluid state in the interior of the core pipe, and forming a single layer of a carbon-based deposit containing graphene on the surface of the titanium dioxide particles.
