Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a plastic substitute for automobiles using a used automobile carpet, comprising the steps of: grinding a used automobile carpet to produce ground materials; stirring and melting the ground materials to produce a melt; adding polypropylene and bamboo powder to the melt while stirring and melting the same to produce a mixed melt; and injecting the mixed melt into an extruder and extruding the mixed melt, wherein the ground materials, the melt, and the mixed melt are produced by a single process.
