Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarization splitter, a polarization splitter, a light irradiation device, a method for irradiating light, and a method for manufacturing an aligned photo-alignment film. The method for manufacturing the polarization splitter of the present invention has a simple manufacturing process, low manufacturing costs, and facilitates the manufacture of an ultraviolet polarization splitter in a large area. Furthermore, the polarization splitter of the present invention has excellent durability against ultraviolet rays and heat, has a simple manufacturing process due to a low pitch dependency of polarization properties, and can implement a superior polarization degree even in a short-wavelength area.
