Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polarizing members comprising a locally bleached region, the method comprising the steps of: providing a polarizing member comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer having iodine and/or a dichromatic dye oriented in a predetermined direction; bringing one side of the polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer into contact with a bleaching solution by means of printing so as to partially bleach the polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer; and correcting the exterior of the partially bleached polarizing member.
