Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polarizing members comprising a locally bleached region, the method comprising the steps of: providing a polarizing member comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer having iodine and/or a dichromatic dye oriented in a predetermined direction; forming, on one side of the polarizing member, a mask layer comprising at least one perforation; dipping the polarizing member, which has the mask layer formed thereon, in a bleaching solution so as to partially bleach same; and correcting the exterior of the partially bleached polarizing member.
