Abstract:
A plurality of recesses having the same spacing and arrangement as those of pores in an alumina film beforehand formed at the time of anodic oxidation are formed on the smooth surfaces of an aluminum plate, and then the aluminum plate is subjected to anodic oxidation to improve the uniformity in roundness and pore diameter in a porous anodized alumina film and regularly arrange the pores at constant intervals. Also, the recesses are formed by pressing a substrate, which is provided at the surfaces thereof with a plurality of projections, against the surface of the aluminum plate prior to anodic oxidation.
