Abstract:
This method has: a cable production step for producing a power cable that has a conductive body and an insulation layer provided so as to cover the outer periphery of the conductive body; a sheet formation step for forming a sheet for inspection by cutting, in an inward spiraling fashion, the insulation layer in one portion of the power cable in the axial direction at a prescribed thickness; and an inspection step for inspecting the power cable by measuring prescribed electrical characteristics of the sheet for inspection.
