Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to suppress warping and twisting in a longitudinal direction when manufacturing an elongate curved component by press molding. This method for manufacturing a pressed component includes: a first step (2) of press molding a metal plate (1) using a first die having the shape of a target component; and a second step (3) of press molding a molded product 10 after the first step (2) using a second die. In the second step (3), warping in a longitudinal direction end portion of the component by elastic recovery due to release from the first die is suppressed by implementing control of an opening of a cross section of a vertical wall portion (10B) of a bent portion (10D) in accordance with said warping.
