Abstract:
Provided are: a method for manufacturing a quantum dot dispersion, which, when used to prepare a composition for dispersing quantum dots on a substrate surface or forming a film including quantum dots, can form a substrate provided with quantum dots or a film including quantum dots which exhibits the desired quantum yield; and a quantum dot dispersion that can be suitably manufactured by said method. A quantum dot dispersion is manufactured by using quantum dots (A) including a chalcogenide as a surface material, and dispersing the quantum dots (A) in a dispersion medium (B) including an organic solvent (B1) having a chalcogen element.
