Abstract:
This method of manufacturing a radar cover which covers a radar unit that senses the peripheral state of a vehicle includes: forming a transparent layer having a recessed portion; forming an engaging portion having a protruding portion which engages with the recessed portion; forming a brilliant film which is transparent to radio waves and is disposed on the protruding portion of the engaging portion, between the protruding portion of the engaging portion and the recessed portion of the transparent layer; forming a transparent ceramic coating layer which is patterned along the brilliant film, in such a way as to cover the brilliant film; and securing the transparent layer to the engaging portion.
