Abstract:

A method of manufacturing a rotary device includes a step of plastic forming of a thrust dynamic pressure pattern (26h) wherein deformation of or difference in the height of the top surfaces of the thrust dynamic pressure pattern (26h) is reduced by pressing a work (26) intended to be the pressure pattern by means of a die (503) and releasing the pressure in multiple processes repeated several times. The rotary device thus produced has a narrower bearing gap and a high efficiency of collecting lubricant to increase a thrust dynamic pressure.
