Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a rotationally-molded roof box, and a rotationally-molded roof box. The method for manufacturing a rotationally-molded roof box comprises the following steps: providing a rotational molding die (S10); performing filling and heating (S20); forming a roof fox (S30); and forming an access opening (S40). The rotationally-molded roof box comprises a rotationally-molded roof box body (30) and at least one roof box door (60). The rotationally-molded roof box has no gap and no windward side joint portion, features strong structural force, and can ensure waterproofness; there is no need to use fasteners for upper and lower covers, so that a risk of separation or looseness of fastening is avoided, and materials and manufacturing costs of the roof box are reduced; the structural force can be ensured by just using a light-weight material, and the roof box can be easily used and operated by a single person; furthermore, the problem of a driving danger caused by the roof box due to the separation of the upper and lower covers during running of a vehicle can be avoided.
