Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a scintillator panel, wherein no dust is generated at the time of eliminating the protruding portions of the fluorescent material surface and no image defect is generated due to the dust. The scintillator panel having excellent image qualities and a radiological image detector are also provided. The method for manufacturing the scintillator panel having a supporting body and a fluorescent material layer formed on the supporting body has, after a step of forming the fluorescent material layer on the supporting body, a step of heat-treating the supporting body and the fluorescent material layer, while sandwiching the supporting body and the fluorescent material layer between two rigid plates and applying pressure.
