Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode, comprising the processes of: (a) continuously forming two or more slurry coating portions on one surface or both surfaces of a metal foil in a second direction, which is the longitudinal direction of the metal foil, such that, between slurry coating portions coated with electrode slurry comprising an electrode active material, a blank portion coated with no electrode slurry is positioned in a first direction, which is the transverse direction of the metal foil; (b) drying the slurry coating portions and rolling the same by rollers, thereby forming mixture coating portions; and (c ) slitting the blank portion in the second direction, thereby forming electrode strips, wherein the method further comprises a process of forming non-continuous linear slits on the blank portion of the metal foil in the second direction before process (a), during process (a), or between process (a) and process (b).
