Abstract:

Provided is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode by winding and supplying, in the lengthwise direction of a unit electrode, an electrode sheet having the same width as the width of the unit electrode, which is to be formed in order to simplify a process of cutting the secondary battery electrode, and by introducing a single process of cutting all at once according to the shape of the unit electrode by using a cutter or a mold. The method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode comprises: a first step of continuously supplying an electrode sheet alternately arranged along a progression direction (MD direction) of the electrode sheet having a part to which an electrode active material is applied and a part to which the same is not applied; and a second step of processing the electrode sheet into a unit electrode by cutting the part to which the electrode active material of the electrode sheet, having been supplied in the first step, is not applied.
