Abstract:
The method of the present invention can be used in automotive engineering. According to this method, a license plate of a highway vehicle is made of a hard white translucent material such as plastic or opal glass and has the form of a vehicle lamp light diffuser. A corresponding lamp casing is manufactured, inside which said license plate is removably secured. The license plate is illuminated from the inside by the bulbs of the said lamp. Such a license plate can be used as a front license plate as well as a rear license plate. During the reverse movement of the vehicle, the ground is also illuminated by the vehicle rear lamp through the white translucent background of said license plate.
