Abstract:
According to the present invention, there are processing steps: a first bending process for bending a sheet-shaped metal material (1) into a convexed shape; a bending process for bending the bent portion (1b) in a direction opposite to the direction of the bending of the bent portion (1b) to form a boss portion (6) in a state where the expansion outwardly in the radial direction of the outer peripheral edge portion (1e) of the bent material (1) is restricted; and a second bending process for bending the outer radial peripheral portion of a flat portion (5) of the material (1) after the bending process to be convexed in a direction opposite to that of the boss portion (6); whereby a tubular boss portion (6) projecting toward one side from the central portion of the material (1) and a peripheral wall portion (7) projecting in the same direction as that of the boss portion (6) from the outer peripheral portion of the material (1) are formed, so that the boss portion having a desirable diameter and projecting height can be formed with precision by use of a small press machine, with the sheet thickness being not so thin.
