Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sheet for a smoking article and, more particularly, to a method comprising the steps of: (S1) separating a cigarette material into a solid part and a liquid part by inputting and soaking the cigarette material in an aqueous solvent and pressing same; (S2) removing the liquid part, forming a sheet from the solid part, and then drying and grinding the sheet; (S3) mixing the ground sheet and pulp to prepare a slurry; and (S4) forming a sheet from the slurry, wherein a particular component comprises one or more selected from a group consisting of nicotine and nitrate. The smoking article comprising the sheet manufactured by the method is characterized by having the particular component reduced and having excellent flavor.
