Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a manufacturing method that can efficiently manufacture silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl titanium trihalide. The present invention is a method for manufacturing silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl titanium trihalide expressed by general formula (1), and includes a step (i) for producing a silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl alkali metal compound by reacting a silicon substituted cyclopentadiene compound and an alkali metal compound, a step (ii) for producing silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl titanium trialkoxide by reacting a transition metal compound with the silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl alkali metal compound, and a step (iii) for reacting a halogen compound with the silicon substituted cyclopentadienyl titanium trialkoxide.
