Abstract:

A method for manufacturing a sintered compact, the method provided with a readying step for preparing a raw material powder including an iron-based metal powder, a molding step for fabricating a pressed-powder molded body having an average relative density of at least 93% overall by uniaxial pressing of the raw material powder using a mold, a processing step for mechanically processing the pressed-powder molded body to fabricate a processed molded body, and a sintering step for sintering the processed molded body to obtain a sintered compact.
