Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a sliding member having a sliding portion, wherein the sliding member is manufactured by solid phase bonding, through thermocompression using a spark plasma sintering process, of a ferrous metal functioning as the body of the sliding member, and a Cu alloy containing at least Si or Al, and functioning as the sliding portion.
