Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to use, as an inexpensive, alternative industrial fuel, discarded disposable diapers or sanitary napkins considered to be faulty products during manufacture through a predetermined processing, and to provide a solid fuel which does not cause pollution when burned. The solid fuel provided according to the present invention is eco-friendly and inexpensive, and is manufactured using, as a main material, synthetic-resin/pulp waste, such as discarded disposable diapers or sanitary napkins in which a synthetic resin and pulp are inseparably coupled together. The method for manufacturing a solid fuel using synthetic-resin/pulp waste as a main material according to the present invention involves feeding waste, such as discarded disposable diapers or sanitary napkins in which pulp and a synthetic resin are integrated, into a shredder so as to shred the waste into small pieces, adding a bit of waste cooking oil as a binder to the pieces, extrusion-molding the resultant material, cutting the extrusion-molded material so as to pelletize the material, and drying the pellets. The solid fuel manufactured by the aforementioned method may be naturally dried and thus may be eco-friendly and inexpensive.
