Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing solid fuel in which a binder material and a carbon source are mixed, and solid fuel manufactured by using same. According to the present invention, in order to efficiently use various kinds of carbon sources such as highly hydrous low-grade coal and sewage sludge, a binder and a carbon source are uniformly mixed, and then, a necessary drying process and a molding process are performed to thereby manufacture a molded body of solid fuel. Accordingly, solid fuel can be prevented from reabsorbing water during transportation and storage processes. The method of the present invention comprises a step of acquiring a mixed solution of a binder material and a solvent by mixing a material containing a binder material with a solvent such as kerosene, diesel or a mixture thereof, and by filtering solid foreign substances after uniformly dispersing the binder material in the solvent by applying heat at a temperature lower than 150 °C; a step of adding and mixing a carbon source containing 10 to 80 wt% of water with the mixed solution; a step of separating solid and water from a mixture of the mixed solution and the carbon source in a solid-liquid separator; and a step of vaporizing and eliminating water and solvent component from the mixture of the mixed solution and the carbon source by heating and drying a solid separated by the solid-liquid separator by using a conduction heat transfer method.
