Abstract:
Provided is a spectacle lens endowed with high visual transmittance as well as adequate polarizing function. A method for manufacturing a spectacle lens, comprising forming a polarizing layer by applying a coating liquid containing 0.04-1.5% by mass of a dichroic pigment by a spin coating method at a speed of 200-600 rpm on a rubbing-treated surface.
