Abstract:
A stacked-type dielectric actuator includes a stacked body (10a) obtained by stacking a plurality of unit layers (11). Each unit layer (11) is provided with a dielectric layer (12) made from a dielectric elastomer, and an electrode layer (13) made from an electrically conductive elastomer and provided on one surface of the dielectric layer. The method for manufacturing the stacked-type dielectric actuator is provided with: a first step of forming a film (12a) made from the dielectric elastomer; a second step of curing the film (12a) made from the dielectric elastomer to form the dielectric layer (12); a third step of forming a film (13a) made from the electrically conductive elastomer on the dielectric layer (12); and a fourth step of curing the film (13a) made from the electrically conductive elastomer to form the electrode layer (13). In this manufacturing method, the stacked bodies (10a) are formed on each of a plurality of bases (30) by repeatedly performing the first step to the fourth step sequentially a plurality of times each, on the plurality of bases (30), while the plurality of bases (30), arranged side by side in a conveying direction (A) on a circulating conveying route, are each being circulated.
