Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a stator for a rotary electric machine, the method comprising: a fitting step for fitting a plurality of coil pieces for forming a stator coil to a stator core to form a workpiece; a joining step for joining, after the fitting step, the leading ends of one coil piece and another coil piece on one axial end side of the workpiece; an impregnation step for impregnating several times, after the joining step, an impregnation target portion of the stator coil including a joined part of the leading ends with a liquid resin material; and a heating step for heating, after the impregnation step, the workpiece so as to cure the liquid resin material in the entire workpiece.
