Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a steel pipe sheet pile in which a joint pipe is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a steel pipe body and a mechanical joint pipe provided to an end part of the steel pipe body, while ensuring circularity of the mechanical joint pipe. The method for manufacturing a steel pipe sheet pile having a mechanical joint pipe pertaining to the present invention comprises a first pipe attachment step ZS1 for attaching a first pipe 15 to an outer peripheral surface at least 200 mm away from an end part of a steel pipe body 3, a first slit formation step s3 for forming a first slit 15a in the first pipe 15 after the first pipe attachment step S1, a mechanical joint pipe attachment step S5 for attaching a mechanical joint pipe 5 after the first slit formation step S3, a second pipe attachment step S7 for securing a second pipe 17 provided with a second slit 17a to the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe body 3 and weld-joining an end part of the first pipe 15 and one end part of the second pipe 17 after the mechanical joint pipe attachment step S5, and a slit communication step S9 for communicating the first slit 15a and the second slit 17a after the second pipe attachment step S7.
