Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing an article by using an additive manufacturing method including: (a) a step for producing an article or one or more layers by means of additive manufacturing (AM); and (b) a step for performing ultrasonic nanocrystalline surface modification (UNSM) on the surface of the article or the one or more layers, wherein a product having excellent friction and wear properties and significantly improved strength compared to articles using existing bulk materials can be manufactured at lower cost by applying an ultrasonic nanocrystalline surface modification (UNSM) technique to a layer or article manufactured using 3D printing.
