Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin, a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing an injection molded article. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin, which can manufacture a SAN-based resin having a high molecular weight by mixing mercaptan having excellent reactivity with an alpha-alkyl styrene oligomer having relatively low reactivity, as molecular weight regulators, at specific concentrations during emulsion polymerization comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound. As the present invention uses a mixture of different molecular weight regulators having different reactivities, the present invention has an effect of providing a thermoplastic resin molded article that can be agglomerated with a small amount of coagulant, can increase productivity, has excellent mechanical strength and processability, etc., and has excellent appearance characteristics.
