Abstract:
The present invention facilitates the manufacturing of a tire forming mold by simply producing a prototype of the tire forming mold. This method for manufacturing a tire forming mold has: a step for producing a prototype (2) that has a tread shape section (3) including the tread shape of a tire; a step for producing an intermediate mold having a transfer section to which the tread shape section (3) of the prototype (2) is transferred; a step for forming a cast mold by the transfer section of the intermediate mold; and a step for casing the tire forming mold using the cast mold. The prototype (2) is produced by forming an outer surface part (60) of the tread shape section (3) and attaching the outer surface part (60) to a base section (50) of the prototype (2).
