Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a copper alloy for use in electronic components, said alloy containing, by mass, 2.0–4.0% titanium and a total of 0–0.5% of one or more third elements selected from the group comprising manganese, iron, magnesium, cobalt, nickel, chromium, vanadium, niobium, molybdenum, zirconium, silicon, boron, and phosphorus, with the remainder comprising copper and unavoidable impurities. After a last solution treatment, the titanium-copper is heat-treated to increase the conductivity by 0.5–8% IACS, then cold-rolled, and finally aged.
